Don't judge a book by its cover..!! We are here last night ,I used to see this restaurant when I was passing Willesden Ln but it was first time seeing inside . It’s a small piece of Desi vintage cake, Since 1964 they well maintains the ambiance. This is a very well vintage designed restaurant ,the antique interior is lovely and does give you that you are in Indian village ,feel which you would expect when coming here and pleased by the quality and presentation of the food. The flavour of the curry was excellent with a nice amount of heat...! Service was excellent.! Highly recommended..

We live locally and decided to try this place. Unfortunately they only had one vegan option for the main which was the Spinach Bhaji. The dishes were smaller than we expected them to be and not as flavoursome. Staff were friendly and helpful pointing out the vegan option.

The food here is brilliant, a great selection, well priced, really friendly staff. Only take away available at the moment but definitely worth a trip, they also deliver locally.

Myself (British) and my partner (Indian) have been ordering from Vijay every month at least for the last 2 years since moving to the area. Fantastic veg food with the best idli sambar I've had in London. The green beans and coconut is great and so are the dosas and south Indian roti. Sad to be leaving the area soon!

Went for an evening stoll in nearby area and thought of doing a takeaway but ended up dining. It was a very good experience. They have maintained a very good hygiene standards by providing hand sanitizer at the entrance and adjacent tables being blocked to maintain social distance. After our meal, as per government guidelines we were asked to fill our contact details. We didn't feel uncomfortable at all throughout the dinning experience. I highly recommend their Kerela lamb fry and Kerela Paratha, was so delicious. At these hard times, we all should support the restaurants. Eat out to help out
