This statue is of Alan Brooke, 1st Viscount Alanbrooke. A World War Two Field Marshal, chief of staff of the British armed forces during the war and therefore principal military advisor to Winston Churchill.. This statue stands just outside the Ministry of Defence building and shows Brooke standing upright, right foot forward and arms clasps behind his back.
