I have been taking some sewing classes with Janice (also note she have put a 5 star review here “disguised” as a guide) on Thursdays when they have a sewing club. After lots of money spent both on classes, material and equipment. This woman is a complete fraud. Not only she ignored helping me when I was waiting for her to chat with friends and customers 5 min about weather and nonsense not related to servicing. But also completely ruined the dress I paid so much to do. It wasn’t only this. At one occasions she charged me more as I finished earlier. She took my card and tapped with contactless without letting me see. This was how I found about it. When I told her she said: “oh I’ll just deduct it from next time”. Next time came and I reminded her just before paying. She was going to take my card to tap it. But I asked her to see the terminal and I will be the one who’s tapping. Of course she didn’t had the correct amount. She was going to over charge me again. She corrected the amount and I went away from that shop and never put my foot there ever again.

They recently sewed a new velcro strip on my Grandson's school bag, not a big job I admit but it was expertly done.Whenever I have called in the shop I have always found the staff extremely helpful and pleasant.
