We enjoy the close knitted community and the warm teachers and staff. Along with the array of extra-curricular activities and music lessons, the school offers a strong foundation of educational fundamentals while instilling in the children the importance of core values. We are truly happy with the school and the life long friendships made along the way.

'A wonderful supporting school with a nurturing pastoral care ethic, and capable and motivating teaching staff. We are delighted how the school actively supports development of our daughters talent in drama and music which is the love of her life. She has also embraced maths and science with enthusiasm which is quite a break-through for her. Our daughter is receiving a well rounded happy education focused on securing her first choice senior school place. Full credit to Dr. Edmonds for re-structuring the school and implementing such an effective personalised learning approach during the first two years of her tenure. We are proud to be part of The Hampshire School Chelsea fraternity.'

The online learning provision during lockdown was really good and beyond the classroom, the latest Rememberance assembly was very moving and just such a great exemple of what the school is made of.

Really warm memories of caring and professional teachers in the early school slowly got soured by apparent financial problems and the drive to cut costs and get higher revenue by any means possible. This started happening well before the crisis of 2008/9. New teachers with little experience started to appear at the expense of better ones leaving. Kids come home with little clue of what was done in the school but with homework requiring explanation of the basics and then 2-3 hours of photocopied exercises to complete. Teacher-parent communications poor with frequent homework checks missing and no replies to written comments and questions. With no classwork to be seen until the next parents' day it has always been a hit and miss in understanding what was done and still needs doing. And then this really childish practice... Anyone leaving the school for an alternative one gets reports that are in stark contrast to what parents are told about their kids when they stay with the school. A shot in the back? This seems unrealistic from tales of other parents until you get it yourself on the last day of term before leaving. The school is also getting more and more cosmopolitan. I can't care less about that in itself but find it appalling that more concessions given to political-correctness or financially sensitive situations at the same time as denying same rights to other kids.

Great and friendly school where children thrive and are happy individuals which show politeness and respect for others.
