A smart cafe serving sandwiches and pastries for takeaway, very close to Clapham South tube, and Clapham Common. I finally visited yesterday and ordered a salt beef sandwich. They needed cash payment, but there is a cash point at the nearby Sainsburys, so not a problem for me if cash is better for them. I took the sandwich home and it was delicious - big thick slices of salt beef. Can't wait to be able to try dining in!

Had a lovely breakfast here this morning. Much more interesting than my usual breakfast haunts. The place has a lovely atmosphere, it’s very friendly. Around 25 for two people plus cake to take away. Excuse the terrible photo, but my wife found the fact that they had her Mums plates more important. It’s the Glekhuri on the left and the Georgian house breakfast on the right.

I have Georgian relatively regularly and have been to the country. The food I had at The Georgian was not bad at all, I actually liked it. I would rate them between 4 and 5 stars for taste but had to give a heavy discount for value. Their takeaway dishes are the most overpriced I have seen in a long time. They may have fixed this by now but I had their vegetarian option and I was stunned by how much I paid for the little food I got.

Lovely cozy little spot for tea or dinner. Big selection of dishes to choose from. Pear and almond cake was delicious.
