Delicious food! Incredible value! Fantastic service! What a little gem in Balham, it has a gorgeous interior and lovely warm atmosphere. It was my first time visiting with family but after today, it has become one of our favourites and we will be back for sure.

They don’t serve alcohol so we had to go buy some wine from Sainsbury’s nearby. It would have been nice if they’d told us when we booked so we could bring something nice from home. It doesn’t say on the website either. But no corkage fee so that was a plus! The atmosphere is really lively - it was nice but just to note that it’s not a quiet romantic dinner sort of place. Especially because we were sitting outside by the road, i found it a bit difficult to hear my partner(who is quiet) across the table. They have heaters for sitting outside which kept me very warm. Pictures are of the lamb shank. Very tender and nice with cous cous. We had roast pepper dip to start and was very full without any sides or dessert.

Been here multiple times and the food is always top notch. The service is excellent too. Love the girls Anissa and Najwa. Whenever you’re feeling cold and gloomy and want some homemade nutritious goodness. Give this place a go. Probably the best restaurant for dinner in Streatham/Balham!

I’be been with some friends. The food is quite good and not expensive. The tajine and the briwate are good. The couscous not really. The tea at the end was too light but maybe is to not have complain in case is too strong. We couldn’t try the dessert because they were out of stock so they give us the crème brûlé but to be honest was not good at all. Nice decoration and ambience. All the staff is really polite and ready to help.

This restaurant is amazing! I rarely leave reviews but felt I had to because we had such a great evening here. The food is absolutely delicious and the service was brilliant. Being BYOB with no corkage is an added bonus. 100% recommended and will definitely be returning!
