Do NOT go with Sutherlands. Shady things happening here. We fell in love with a property, and made an offer. The agent said the landlord was keen on us and took a holding deposit. A week later we were told the landlord didn’t want us, and our deposit would be refunded. The house remained on the market for another week, and we still didn’t get our deposit back. We called 10 days later hoping that since it was still on the market, we may be able to still get the house by offering an earlier move date, especially since they still had our deposit and were told the house was under contract with someone else. They then finally gave us our deposit back. It’s been yet another 5 days and it remains listed on the market. Very disappointing and frustrating.

Terrible experience renting with this estate agent. No heating in the winter for 6 weeks. Not hot water for 1 week. Then disputing the deposit unfairly. Unprofessional and insulting to their customers.
