The library upstairs is very quiet. However, the toilets are closed temporarily so if you need the loo you have to walk quite a while to the nearest public toilet and pay 20p. Apart from that it's perfect for quiet study.

The quiet study area upstairs is fantastic. The staff are helpful, but the toilet need to some TLC

This seems to be a library where lots of talking is de rigueur, much of it quite loud, staff projecting conversations across the space. Nice otherwise There's a decent big quiet study section upstairs, but it's like a greenhouse this time of year
