I have been a patient of the Spencer Clinic since at least the mid 1980s when I went because of a very scaly scalp. Over the last 15 years or so regular treatment from Richard and his team helps me cope with a permanent condition. I use the Spencer Clinic shampoo, lotion and cream at home and,as a result, my scalp is in a better condition because of the treatment and the products. I also enjoy sitting under the steamer while some magic cream does its stuff and the massage of my scalp is utter bliss.
You can’t put a price on peace of mind, and that’s what the Spencer Clinic gave me. When I started losing my hair quite heavily, hair loss quickly became my biggest worry. I thought nothing could be done… until I stumbled upon the Spencer Clinic and trichology. My hair loss got under control soon after starting treatment. It’s been over a couple years now and, thanks to regular treatments, my hairline hasn’t receded one bit and hair loss is no longer a concern. Treatments have also greatly helped with my eczema. My quality of life has improved as a result. What I’ve learned is that, when it comes to hair loss, it’s all about prevention. It’s hard to take the first step; but the sooner you do, the most effective the treatment is. I felt at ease from the first consultation with the Spencer Clinic, and have been benefiting from their treatments ever since thanks to a great team of professionals with plenty of experience.
Richard and his team, especially Leti, have been very supportive during almost two years of stress I have been experiencing which seems to have caused my hair loss. They have been very reassuring and provided me with a regular haven to try and ignore, at times, balls of hair falling out. Visiting the clinic is always a treat, especially the head massage. Richard and his team understand your worries and their friendly chat about life in general during treatments helps to distract from your hair issues. It's also a hair salon, hence I recommend trying to avoid the busiest days if, like me, you are a fan of Magic Soul on the radio and wishing to truly switch off during the head massage.
First class service and results. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere (this is also a hairdressing salon). Private initial consultation. My hairloss primarily caused by stress but age and other factors too. Richard used a combination of treatments: hi-frequency, product plus steam, vibration and head massage (I’d go for that alone!). After washing I dry my own hair but hairdressers are on hand if preferred. I had weekly sessions for first 10 or so (hairloss had ceased) then fortnightly. Regrowth noticeable by treatments 12-14. Both parents had very fine hair, I’m the same. But it is now looking the best it can. Highly recommended. Not cheap but worth every penny and packages available. Just don’t wait as long as I did!
