My mother was there for 2yrs and when she went into hospital for the last time, it turned out there had been some negligence in her care. There were some lovely carers there but the new owners (Signature) made big cutbacks when they took over which including reducing staff members on at any one time and making meals incredibly basic. It's a shame because when it was Kingsmere it was great. I guess this is a business though so they need to make as much money as they possibly can from each resident. Not what you want when going through the very difficult task of placing a loving mother/father into a Carehome. I found the new senior members of staff there cold and unapproachable. If I were you, I'd look for a Kingsmere Carehome.

My experience of Signature Wimbledon is that the staff are genuinely committed and caring and will always go out of their way to make sure that the residents and families are looked after.
Very friendly staff, every one smiles the moment you come into the reception. Coffee, cold drinks, cakes and fruit available in the lounge cafe. Would be happy to stay there as my holidays for a week or two.
We work within this home providing private physiotherapy services to residents. The staff are highly professional, well trained, and really care about the needs and well being of residents. Staffing levels are good, and they are able to provide accurate clinical information within their level of competence. I have been very impressed with the whole team commitment to maintaining the safety, dignity and independence of their residents.
Seems very good for people who are mobile. If not the resident may be left alone for periods of time as there are not unlimited members of staff. Nice cafe and seems very clean. Parking is inadequate for visitors. However its worth checking out. Rooms are nice with en suites. For some people it could be ideal. Menus look attractive for those who can appreciate it. Garden needs a bit of love
