Decor very grand and elegant. Was escorted to beautiful downstairs bar to wait for table. Was there for near enough half an hour past our actual booking time before we were taken to our table. I would prefer to be taken to my table at the time of booking. Oysters, scallops and tempura prawns ordered for starters. Oysters and scallops were exceptional however I feel the tempura batter on the prawns was a bit thick. For main I ordered bannockburn rib steak with half a grilled lobster (I have a very big appetite) with various vegetable sides. Lobster as with the vegetable sides were of a high quality. I know the restaurant is famous for its fish and for some reason I didn’t order a fish main however I highly recommend it because the steak itself was lacklustre. No real flavour and too thick and chewy. Dessert I had apple crumble and custard which was delicious however my partner ordered the chocolate fondant which came out dry. Overall as a one off special occasion the experience was pleasant and it is likely you might have the novelty of bumping into a celebrity or too (we sat a few tables away from Sergio Aguero) however for the money (603 for 3 people) you can get better elsewhere.

Superb selection of seafood on the menu. The halibut is most certainly outstanding. Cooked to perfection with delicate butter sauce with crab. In season, the starter of beetroots with Labneh (Lebanese thick and strained yogurt) is also excellent.

One of the best restaurants for seafood in London. Great food, relaxed atmosphere and beautiful decor. A must for a special occasion

Lovely seafood restaurant. Knowledgeable and helpful staff, great atmosphere, amazing quality food. We tried the rock oysters, smoked salmon and eel sashimi, octopus carpaccio, John Dory cheeks and seared cod with padron peppers. All of those dishes were exquisite. For dessert we finished with honeycomb ice cream with chocolate fondue - the perfect finish to a lovely night. The wine list is extensive. Great place for a date, as well as business meal.

Hey, look, don't beat me up for the missing 5th star. This *is* a great restaurant. However, here's how it goes (always!): you come in, sit down, look at the menu and then order the Dover sole. Because you should. And, yes, it is bloody excellent! I'd recommend a Mersault with it. So, the entrées are where you can get creative. And I highly recommend the oysters (always) but also give the razor clams with wild boar sausages a try (you sometimes get other variations with those amazing sausages; the combination of tastes works really well!). Something else! Other than that, try to get a table at the back, so you don't have to put up with the celebrity circus at the front. Their staff is, incidentally, impeccable!
