Booked to go to Jeddah from London via travel agent but my wife was unwell and unable to fly. I called airline office in London and was told that there is a chance that the flight could be cancelled and refunded but I’d have to go through the travel agency. Called travel agency and they contacted airline and were told that i’d only get taxes back. I called airline office again and once again I was told that I should send a doctor’s letter and that a refund should be possible. I sent the letter to the agency but they never sent it to the airline. They were told that a refund is not possible. They would only offer refund if someone dies. I tried to speak to someone at the airline office but they said that as booking had been cancelled they couldn’t do anything. I tried to email customer services but I got a reply back to use the online form but there is no option to contact anyone of you haven’t bought ticket from airline. I tried to contact someone on their Facebook page but no one could help me. There is a postal address and I’ll try to write but I know that I won’t get a reply. Why was I given misleading information from the airline office in the first place? Why does one have to die before any kind of refund is given. What kind of refund policy is this? Why can’t I speak to someone who knows what is going on and why is there conflicting advice given? I will lose 1200, I have no doubt that the tickets will have been resold so the airline has profited from my wife’s illness. Why can’t there be compassion and leniency in such situations? If you’re sick, they’re not interested, only death gets their attention.

The hosts were lovely and friendly people, however there was unreasonable amount of delay from Jeddah to London and on top of the delay, the aircraft was in pieces falling apart, it was absolutely awful and not to mention that it's dangerous. But they didn't even have the courtesy to move the children I had to sit on this flight for nearly 7 hours and make sure the kids didn't get electrocuted or the metal part sticking out didn't stab either one of us.

When I call them and asked them about something they told me to wait. I waited for around 4min then they hanged up. They simply closed the line while I was waiting for an answer.
