Salon is a relaxed and informal restaurant that specialises in an ever-changing seasonal 5-course Set Menu, with all the finesse and attention to detail of fine dining, but without any of the fuss. We take bookings for our £42 set menu only. With new curfew regulations the last seating we take for the set menu is at 8pm. Guests will have the table for 2 hours, after which we may require it back for another booking. There is also space for walk-ins where we serve an a la carte menu. Bookings made between 5:30pm and 6pm Tuesday - Wednesday will benefit from 15% off the set menu price. Please inform us of any dietary requirements in advance. In addition to the latest kit Salon still maintain a large fleet of traditional 35mm and 16mm editing equipment. Every hire comes complete with full technical back up from a team of accredited engineers. Salon's recently established (2008) sales division, Salon Pro Sales, stocks a wide range of hardware and software for creative pro's.

Well priced tasting menu for lunch. All the food was fresh, creative, delicious and fun. Service friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. My only complaint is that there was an error on the menu for mains which was unannounced until the food was served. I would have changed my order had I been aware of the change but wasn't given that opportunity. The mains were on the smaller side but this seemed appropriate given the price. Otherwise it was a brilliant meal and I will return for the dinner menu.

Delight, joy, serious, relaxed, intelligent, provoking, in short utterly brilliant. That's just the food. Lived for years in the area, and can't understand why hadn't sort you the creative and talented kitchen and chef before now. Service was to match with impeccable diligence and thought. This is a casual Trinity, and Trinity is relaxed, this team does seriously complete. Bravo

We ordered the Valentine’s Day box and it was so disappointing. The starters were good, but the rest of the main was mediocre at best. The gratin had NO trompettes in despite being advertised as such, after cooking for the allocated time there was still raw potato. And to be fair it was a bit of a boring dish. The braised cabbage was sub par. A box with raw cabbage, butter and a garlic clove in. Had to cook it for double the amount of time stated and even with the sauce it was bland and boring. To add insult to injury they also forgot to add a key component by of the desert with our food. I was so excited to support a small business during this time but this was was 90 NOT well spent.

This is one of those places that looks like a normal restaurant but shocks you with the taste, flavours and originality of food. We had the set menu which costs 42 and consisted of 5 courses. Everything was bombtastic and memorable, and service was impeccable. Atmosphere is cosy and casual with high end cuisine. Still craving this beautiful almond dessert.

The setting is perfect. The staff are friendly, attentive, passionate and know everything about everything that you're going to eat and drink. The menu changes constantly but I suggest that you follow my friend's advice to \just know that they've made great choices and enjoy them\. Because you absolutely will. There was a time when I did not think such nuanced dining could be so relaxed, but Salon nails just that.
