Excellent comic-book store! Have visited it many times over the last 6 years and have always received fantastic service. The staff are very friendly, helpful and were particularly good whenever I would visit with my younger sister who has a learning disability so taking her places can sometimes be a bit challenging, but the workers were always patient and created a warm, welcoming environment. I now work in retail myself and I frequently cite Orbital as one of my inspirations for showing me what great customer service looks like. As I have been unable to make it into Central London lately (for obvious reasons!) I recently used their mail order service and the collection of classic comics I ordered (Kitty Pryde & Wolverine, for those who care!) came in good time and superb condition. Orbital is an Independent business worth treasuring, offering a service the likes of Bezos can only dream of. Long may it continue!

Some nice stuff in here. Back issues clearly organized and easy to find stuff in.. I will be back next visit. Complete run of single issue watchmen for 150..I only need issue one as lost mine..

Visited 25/7/20 it was very quiet (due to the virus) I don't visit very often, but I was glad it was open. The shop looks like it's having a change round (due I hear to new management?) Strangely, some display cases/cabinets by the door have given way to a coffee delivery service/cafe??? Not sure if it's a permanent feature (as I didn't ask) but it just looks odd in a specialist comic shop

If you expect your comic shop to pamper you and pander to you and your random whims, do not visit here! Orbital comics are a laid back, friendly and no-nonsense comicbook shop. Which I love. Let's just cut out the hyperbole, shall we?

It's kind of sad... Orbital has really gone downhill in the past year. The selection has reduced significantly and it no longer the very well rounded comic store it once was, primarily selling Marvel and DC franchises exclusively now. I understand that there's a pandemic occurring (as referred in a previous response on here from the staff) and that a lot of stuff has been put into storage, but when it has become an amalgamation of a (limited) comic store, a mini coffee shop (during the outbreak of covid-19 of all times) and selling vinyl records, it leaves the impression that it no longer knows what it wants to be. The staff that are currently employed are rather rude on top of this as well. When I decided to browse through the vinyls last week, the men working in this section were getting really up in my personal space, barely even keeping a ft between us (but I mean, what are pandemic protocols?). This lead to a rather off-putting browsing experience and was pretty uncomfortable. If you're a Marvel and DC fan that already /knows/ what they're after then chances are, you will not be disappointed. But, if you're someone who enjoys more of a diverse range of comics, manga and zines, variety and general browsing, then currently it is probably not the place for you.
