This was a lovely church. It was easy to find. We arrived at the nearest underground station from our hotel and the church was visible as we exited the station. The day we visited it was raining but the coffee shop was open and we enjoyed a cappuccino and peppermint tea sitting in the warm. The service which began about twenty minutes after we arrived was welcoming and accessible. Drinks were served after the service.

My first visit to this church left me with a few points to ponder. So from top to bottom... the welcome was good by individuals but a warm welcome by the welcome team would have been better. The church is conveniently located directly opposite Lambeth Station, within walking distance of Westminster Bridge, Waterloo and Elephant Castle with plenty of buses from every direction. Attached to the church is a quaint little cafe and book shop, great for a quick nibble and drink before and after service. The service itself is different than I am used to but very much in line with the good book. The congregation consists of a great mix of people, age range and nationalities. The teachings are very upbeat, modern and on point accompanied by a in-house band very much Hillsong style and free flowing. The main hall is comfy and spacious with quite a roomy stage and two massive display monitors for power-point and sing-along lyrics. After the service I had the opportunity to mingle with others with a nice hot drink and cookies. The overall atmosphere was very warm & polite. A few people approached to welcome me later, which made me feel included. This is not a traditional church but more so very community focused, working with the local foodbank, disadvantaged youth and charity projects with a wide range of topics and discussions to suit everyone attending. Will I come again? Absolutely yes. Thumbs up!!!

I moved to London last week and had heard of Oasis Waterloo so thought I would visit. I have come the first two weeks of living here and people were friendly and welcoming. Its a very inclusive church and you can see that diversity in the people that are in the service. There is lots of reflection and really different ways to engage.
