Good range of services, welcoming staff in a well maintained, clean building with lots of therapeutic spaces and a good canteen.

my brother was referred here. Utterly pointless, he has severe mental health issues, what he needs is targeted mental health treatment which will help him to understand and come to terms with his needs.

Exciting and vibrant mental health support service for Lambeth! Staff and members (\service users\) working together to create opportunities to work and learn (doing anything from admin and reception to cooking and gardening!)

As a member you are treated with the same respect as staff and actually the members/service users work there too and are very supportive of each other. It’s clean and bright, everyone is friendly and I feel safe and happy there. It’s like a community

This relates to the Sanctuary Evening service only. I was referred here that probably didn't know what this place could offer and what they couldn't. Firstly and most importantly they only allow 10 people at a time. What is worse, is the ones that have been going for 3 weeks are told to leave to make way for people like me who have just been referred. The reason being leads me onto my second point is, if you are in a crisis, the expectation is you would only be so for a few days. It is not a place for those who have been in a long-term crisis. I wish the person who referred me didn't get my hopes up. I thought it was a place to go to for relaxation. Instead I would have been watching the door the whole time seeing if person no. 11 has walked through and I have out-stayed my welcome. So only be in a minor crisis, make sure it lasts a couple of days at most and get there very early before 10 people turn up and you are turfed out.
