Laird Hatters is located in London, United Kingdom on 23 New Row, Covent Garden. Laird Hatters is rated 4.5 out of 5 in the category hat shop in United Kingdom. In 2009 Zofia founded the company in London. Alex joined the team shortly afterwards as our principal milliner. Laird Hatters opened its first shop with ready-to-wear headwear in London also in 2009. Today we have 4 stores in Central London and one in Cambridge. Our creative team is also involved regularly in high fashion collaborations with British designers and our headwear features in London Fashion Week and London Collections: Men. We also make bespoke headwear projects for clients, as well as for TV shows and film. At Laird, we hand make hats and caps of distinction for both men and women, and are passionate about sourcing the best British cloths, and supporting British textile manufacturing. A Laird hat evokes a rich English and Scottish heritage, with a modern nuance. The great fabric finishes and rich colour palettes make our headwear stand out, as well as the wonderful craftsmanship. Our look is slick, with strong lines, deep colours and bold statements. Our aim is always to give our clients a wonderful, stylish product, but also great service in our shops or online: friendly, personal, prompt and informative. Laird Hatters is here to make you look and feel great!

Went in here to get a tweed flatcap and found a nice one in Scottish tweed and bought it. I have never before found a “real” hat with a proper crown that suited me. On what I thought was my way out I spotted a small Trilby and it made me look like a ton of masculine prime beef. Wow! Finally a real grown man’s hat I can wear and feel proud. It set me back 145 quid but the quality is top notch - and hey, style can not be measured in filthy cash. Fine service and advice too.

Very unique store, was served by Oliver. He was knowledgeable about the products and friendly. Very welcoming. Great customer experience all round. I’m totally in love with my new hat and have received so many compliments and some people were asking where I got it from. High standard quality. Very unique accessories! Good value, Thanks guys! Keep it up! I love this brand!

I was looking for a place that had a good selection of fedoras/trilby's and Laird came up in my online search. Good thing I went along! The Covent Garden shop is small but perfect for its needs, with all the hats and sizes carefully stacked up to the ceiling. You can see everything you need to at once and the staff are only too happy to help you with whatever you want to try on. Special shout out to Matthew who made the experience a pleasure. He was helpful, friendly and, importantly for me, never felt like he was pushing me to buy (or, after my experience with another certain hat shop, trying to push me back out the door!). I ended up buying a brilliant Alfred trilby that I couldn't take my eyes off the moment I saw it. The Taupe colourway is an absolute beauty and it seems to go with everything. Might have to head back in for a brown Fed at some point in the future. Great shop!

Great store. Our salesman Dave was so knowledgeable and made the experience so fun. He could tell my hat size just by looking at me and made some great points when helping me with my decision on which to buy. England designed and manufactured. Wonderful souvenir of our time living in London.

A great place if you want to explore some hatted fashion. Service was attentive, but not pushy. The prices are fair but certainly not cheap, and the quality shows. I walked in not thinking about buying, walked out with a new flat cap for 75. I might be back soon to get the trilby that caught my eye. If you want the right hat for the right occasion, Laird fits the bill.
