This review is about the customer service, giving 1 star review is very polite. Kaplan always provides all the necessary books before the start date of tuition. Due to covid 19, they didnt send me the books and attend the classroom with no books, they printed us couple of chapters and thats it. I called them and asked nicely to send me the books so that I could study and they said that due to covid 19, cannot provide the books and I have to print them. Talked to 3 different persons and all of them were unbelievably rude, so unprofessional. The course cost is 1,800 including all books ( tuition/revision/exam kit), paying that amount of money should be any problem. In such difficult times, they dont support their students. I was very pleased with Kaplan but now I changed my mind.

Never pay them more than for 1 course module. I paid for 2 Classroom courses. Before visiting the first lecture on 16th March I called them and asked if they will do it online as promised 3 days ago by news letter but they said No, and I had to go for that in city center. After visiting the first lecture the very next day I started to have the symptoms of the virus. All later lectures now are online but they refused to refund the price difference between the classroom and Live-Online which is a few hundred pounds. The same was said about my paid second course also. Though it is almost 2 month yet before the start, they are not able to refund even the price difference and my course will be Live-Online instead of classroom. Shall I sue them for making me catching the virus first? And again for refusing even to refund the price difference btw classroom and live-online courses?

I was the student of Kaplan, I finished \International Year One in Business\ and transferred University of Westminster in my second year. My grades were perfect. However, they clearly did not want to give scholarship to me. First, they reduced my assignment notes and gave me lower marks than I deserved. I compared my assignment marks with my Indian, Chinese friends and even though my work is better, they gained more marks. For example I have 72, but my friend 82 and my part of assignment was harder and definitely better. Although they reduced my marks \consciously\, I finished year with %75 overall grade, and it was still enough for scholarship. I applied for it, then refused they said \the overall grade is not good enough to earn scholarship\ . Then I learned from my Indian friend, his overall is %72 and he has scholarship. After this injustice situation, I know if you are not Indian or Chinese, you cannot earn scholarship even your marks are better. They give priority them and we know the reason. Today, I only focus to pass class with average because I know they do not give me scholarship even I do my best. They will keep giving scholarship politically, not deserving students. Justice is just a name...

I started studying with Kaplan my ACCA but now I know it was a mistake. I have spotted 5 mistakes in their study text, some of them are quite serious. I don’t understand how come no one proofreads the book before it is published. There is a lot more to say about the Kaplan and the way they handle complaints and the studying materials but I just do not want to waste my time now as I have to study to my exam . I am going to study with BPP for the rest 10 ACCA papers and I would recommend to everyone not to use this unprofessional learning provider.

Do nothing to reassure of passing. They Have a pass lifetime guarantee scheme which means you can take the lessons again if you fail . But the tuition phase I found boring as all we did was listen to someone read from slides and there was no exam practice or reference to exam questions. There’s no clear cut strategy how to tackle the paper from the start and so for that reason I cancelled my course, complained to ACCA who backed me up in saying that they charged too much for the tuition. In my case I paid 1,500 and I got 3 tuition classes, 3 revision and 1 question based day. Hardly enough for p1 corporate governance I thought and the bulk of study was homework. I do 50 hr work week so this was near impossible . I attended the tuition classes then made up my mind to cancel.

The building is okay-ish, a little bit run down, rooms can be a bit chilly or hot depending on the season but otherwise it's okay.
