It is a massive cemetery. There appears to be no clear sign where the chapel is. People tend to wander around aimlessly looking for it. Sone graves are well maintained, others have been neglected. You can park inside, however, the roads are narrow.
A well maintained cemetery with an office at the front gates of the cemetery, with staff who are helpful if you need help or have an enquiry. There is a public toilet adjacent to the front office, plus another between both chapels. Parking is not a problem as there are no set designated parking areas, so you can park where or you want to within the grounds. The directions to both chapels within the grounds are well sign posted, and funerals are displayed within the front office if you need to find out which chapel a funeral is taking place in.
There is nothing wrong as a cemetery , yes there are old graves but also many modern clean ones. Come on, you can not rate a cemetery as a 5 star hotel ! is a cemetery where dead people rest. The only criticism is the traffic and parking, avoid attending on week-ends is chaos. There should be implemented traffic lights to control the entrance and exit ,as it is now is a real mayhem specially when a funeral takes place.
My husband and I attended for my uncle Fred's cremation today, staff were wonderful, my uncle was treated with the utmost dignity and Care and respect. Justin, Thank you so much for what you did. Please thank your other members of staff for us. Angela & Berkeley Bathurst.
