Just had a takeaway ( is this possible) for a Christmas present. Have to say it was in the top three steaks I have ever eaten, one was in the Knightsbridge restaurant & this was one of the other two. They gave instructions how to cook everything & it was incredible. Remember came from London to Birmingham so full of praise to Hawksmoor. You only fail on one count, no restaurant in Birmingham. Come on we have so many top class restaurants in Birmingham, we need you 5 star

Great Spot for a Date with Sunday Roast, definatelly need to book a table in advance to avoid disapointment as the restaurant gets quite busy. Staff is super friendly, i like the fact that they don’t wear unfiform, but simply a shirt of their own choice, it just makes everything feel less formal. And that’s what i think Sunday Roast should be all about... relaxed, lazy meaty lunch, curing possible hangover and other sins of a day before. Off to the roast... meat was juicy and pink, potatoes crunchy and hot, my favourote was the gracy and roast garlic bulb, yum! Although I would replace cabbage with another veggie... litterally, any other veggie!

Amazing food and incredibly quick service. Really good value and a superb space for low key dining in a small/medium group. Wonderful place, very tasty, staff were awesome. Great atmosphere and straight forward food options that always leaves you satisfied. Definitely a favorite!

Terrible let down from previous experiences. Burnt as can be seen. When complained I was asked to cut Through and show it was over cooked when clearly it was burnt. Waited an extra 30 min for a new order to be done whilst my girlfriends food went cold. AVOID.
