Heaven for a collector of proper, original, antique prints! Went there today with my wife: we were assisted by a very pleasant & helpful girl and left with two prints, with another put aside. Also spoke with the owner/manager, who was friendly and approachable. A word of caution - this is not a shop for the casual browser but more for the serious collector or someone with a specific enquiry. It's worth browsing their (excellent) website before visiting to get some ideas of what you want to look at, then going in to view them in person. We will definitely make further purchases from here again soon!

The brilliant canary yellow exterior belies the utter scruff-pot, junk mixed with treasure-trove interior. Deeply learned fellows await within. Use it or lose it.
I have frequented Grosvenor prints for years... It is imply the best print shop in London. To contrast...simply go into one of the print shops in the tonier sections...and watch the dealer look you up and down... deciding whether or not you can \afford\ to even be in the shop. I suspect the person who write the negative review was in a foul state that day !! Grosvenor improves with age..even though your first impression is one of \piles and piles\ of prints. There are many, many hidden gems in those piles.. A recent trip (2 years ago..) lead me there and I was tended to by a young intern (?), an art history major who had a good grasp of the \system..\ (i.e., the \piles\) and led me to a remarkable find. True..their prices are much more than E-bay...(yeah, if you knew the costs of operating a small business in London...you would understand..) I dabble in buying and selling...to pay for my habits.. (a junkie, you say??) Also, worth mentioning is Grosvenor's steady improvement of its on-line inventory and website. If you collect prints...you simply MUST stop in.. on a trip. Rude owner
Went out of my way to stop by while in town. Prints were piled everywhere and the guy working there was rude and of no help. I suppose they mostly sell to dealers.
Heel mooi en duizenden prenten. Maar ik werd eigenlijk weggestuurd met de opmerking: \kijk maar op de website wat je wilt of stuur een mailtje en dan leggen we mappen voor je klaar.\ Beetje jammer.
