This uni is great for arts. Lecturers are friendly, uni has nice surroundings and the facilities that they provide are great as well. This university takes the pandemic very seriously, so I feel safe and welcome. The lectures that uni provides us with (during pandemic) are good quality. I believe there could be added more learning content in the program, but overall everything is good.

It's an amazing place for studying! This is where I'm a student for an MRes called Research Methods in Psychology. I love the place and the people here! For me it's a dream that became true!

If you are a BLACK student , avoid because you will not pass your degree no matter how hard you try. The level.of institutional racism here is unreal. My experience here left me with severe depression and PTSD and while attending had to be hospitalised for 6 weeks . Goldsmiths IMS staff went to my GP and requested my files without my consent so they could ambush me with suspension or termination, and despite many health professionals asking them to grant me 2 weeks sick leave they refused ..I went through hell here as a pregnant student.. wouldn't wish it on anyone. And they evicted me from student halls because I was pregnant, have the letter to prove it... I was left homeless, stressed and unable to cope

As other reviewers have pointed out, the tutors here are always hard to reach and some even employ a snarky attitude to you, when you ask for help. The reception desk staff also look like they wish they were anywhere else. Hardly the most welcoming atmosphere espically for new comers. Very difficult to make real friends and soild connections here as many are simply too wrapped up in their own lives to give a toss, and many are much older students, so don't be surprised if you can't relate to your peers too easily; different life stages and what not ect.. please take that with a grain of salt. Most students here simply drink at the local pubs, or smoke around the infamous goldsmiths library. Otherwise there is not much of a friendly spirit around. The great thing about the library? The computers, coffee machine and space inside is great. So it is only due to the library facilities, that I give this review one more star, otherwise it would be 1 stars.

Quality of my last two years of my degree were awful, regret doing my degree here. I felt like there was never any support offered to students, tutors were mostly lazy, you'd be lucky to get one good lecturer a year, and the anthropology department/Goldsmiths admin department are thoroughly incapable of even sending emails. Don't waste your money or time, apply to a redbrick, go abroad or just don't go to university.
