I made reservation on opentable as you can see in the photos. Firstly, the afternoon tea is non-refillable, most other famous afternoon tea in London can be refilled, which means your stomach must be very full before you go there. The price is the same as all other restaurant, but the quality and quantity are limited. The explanation from the restaurant is that they used very good ingredients. Secondly, I ordered the sea urchin sushi, there are small ice blocks in the sea urchin sushi when I ate sea urchin sushi. It looked like they took from fridge without unfrozen completely. Therefore, I went to toilet twice with diarrhea . The first time was when I walked to Bond Street , I went to the toilet in Clariage’s hotel As emergency after 25 mins after leaving your restaurant. The second time is that I went to the toilet in the Selfridges after approximate 75 mins after leaving your restaurant. I have already showed all the evidences and contacted restaurant directly, they did not give me any compensation up to now. personal experience.

I would say the new afternoon tea is fantastic. Obviously, the restaurant used fine ingredients in afternoon tea. Compared to the old afternoon tea, each customer can enjoy a whole “wheel” which is awesome. It’s totally understandable that the afternoon tea can’t be refilled. Other than the expensive ingredients, quality is much more important than quantity. Customers who come to ginza onodera are to enjoy fine dining, good service and fancy environment.
Would certainly recommend trying this spot. Great character, fresh food, awesome customer service. Kudos.
We stumbled upon Japanese Afternoon Tea here, and it was a pleasant surprise! Presentation was lovely, and a nice twist on traditional afternoon tea. The wyagu beef sliders were delicious!! We also liked that there were more savoury items versus too many sweet desserty items.
Finest food, welcoming staff members, consistently excellent character. They charge convenient prices and the food quality is excellent. Fantastic work.
