Agree, reception can be very rude and so morbid sounding on phone. I phoned last week and experience it again. The senior one when she answers the phone, makes you feel like your wasting her time and cannot wait to get you off the phone, moreso if your well known at the surgery. She needs to liven up a bit. Empathy comes a long way. Surgery needs updating. The length of time you have to wait after having an appointment needs change. You can wait an hour sometimes before you see the doctor. Miss Dr Pearl. There was also a new Dr by the same name. Where has he gone? He was good. Liked him. The nurse Anne is lovely, so much empathy.

Trying to show a member of family through Google the back of the surgery, the car park and ended up reading reviews! Some negative and unreasonable! Sadly, Dr Pearl, isn't at the surgery anylonger. Dr Pearl in the many years attending the surgery, nearly 19 years, he was the best GP I have ever met! Always, listened, always considerate to explain, always polite. Never a grumpy day! As for the reception staff, never had any issues. They are only human and dealing with a lot of people for such a small community surgery! Surely, we also have to understand, no one can be perfect everyday! Referring to the probably, odd grumpy day. Obviously, as far as it doesn't cause injustice or medical harm to the patient

I've been going to this doctors surgery for over 25 years. My mum who passed away this year also went to the surgery. It is a very busy surgery and the staff are working very hard under sometimes very challenging conditions. A.ll the staff have always been professional and friendly whenever I've needed an appointment or been to see the doctor or the practice nurse. I'm very grateful to this surgery and staff for many reasons. I think they need a new building with more up-to-date environment for everyone. I think we all deserve that.

I have been going Here for over 20yrs at least once a month and have never found the staff to be rude i have only ever found them to be helpful and efficient often going that extra mile ,it is a busy surgery but i have never felt rushed or ignored , the reception staff have always dealt with me in a friendly and polite manner and while waiting to bee seen by a doctor i have only ever seen and heard them treat everyone who they help as equals no matter what race colour sexual orientation or gender they are and they have always taken the time to help deal with whatever the patient needs maybe , as for the doctors i have seen i can not praise them enough ,they have always made sure that i have had time to explain what is going on with my health and in my life which has been complicated at times they are concerned with the whole of my well being not just my physical health ,they make sure i am involved in all the aspects of my treatment and make sure i know what treatments are available for me and how i can access them , i hope you find this review helpful as i cant relate at all to the negative reviews on here its almost like the people have visited another practices

I don't usually post reviews but saw some of the negative ones on here and they are far from what I have experienced with this good local surgery. I have been coming for over 20 years and the staff and doctors have always treated me with respect and professionalism. Reception staff have always been friendly and helpful.
