I decided to find a local fishmonger and wanted to get some cheap or reasonable price oysters. This shop is amazing, it has oysters and selling cheaper than what I find from other online fishmonger stores. The store has lots of fish selections and it’s prices. Unless you know what fish you want, they can by quite intimidating with lots of selections. I would definitely come back again to try other seafood products. The seafood do look fresh. I thought the service was good enough and not much complain to give as such.

As your typical English guy, I'm a bit shy of fish that isn't finger shaped ;). But at my fortnightly visits for shell-on prawns (therapy to shell/de-vein yourself) and squid rings (prepared for me) I have always received first rate friendly service and the produce has been faultless. Staff (and other customers) always seem happy to give advice on cooking! A local business doing well. What's not to like.
Update: After my previous review, Five Star contacted me and they apologised for the misunderstanding and EVEN They delivered my order to my house. Unbelievable! Thank you so much. I will cook it tomorrow but I have to say, the order looks fresh and good and very good price. Thank you again, I appreciate it! Previous review: I can't even rate the fish. I messaged them one day to confirm they had the fish I needed for the day after and they confirmed. I went there in the morning, after cycling for 25min as I'm not local, and they told me they didn't have it. I mean, seriously! Very annoying
I bought some sea bass today from here and the display and the quality of fish although looked fresh and appealing but as we haven’t eaten the fish yet so can’t say anything about the taste. As far as the service is concerned, the guy on the counter (most probably either Bangladeshi or Indian and in one of my uploaded pictures in front of price board) had the service exactly contrary to the name of the shop. He had a blank face throughout and after he had cut and cleaned the fish I asked him to remove the eye balls and the tails and he had an expression of being put off like I had asked him to gouge his own eye balls and remove his tail (which he might well have). You guys either change the name of the shop to One Star Fishmongers or change your customer service matching your current name.
Good range of fish available. Staff are friendly with a quick service.
