Two stars for the atmosphere which is what drew us in. We passed the location on a prior trip and made note to return but were so disappointed. The restaurant is festive and decorated in a lively fashion with fun art and beautiful Latin music. The staff is very friendly and were nice as well. At the sip of the first Mojito we were lost! How could you have a bad mojito and the 'home of the mojito.' It was by far the worst mojito we've ever had! Had the ropa Viejo and grilled shrimp salad. Salad was fresh and green but not hardly any taste related to the Caribbean. The ropa Viejo was bland and the portion tiny. Because were were seated outside on the street it was prepared as a to.go so the food was placed in a paper box. I have made a better ropa vieja that what I was served. Didn't see an olive or pimento in the dish at all and goya black bean soup out of the can would have been more welcome. Growing up with Cuban family I may be too critical however I think it correct to do so. Location is great but they do need to up their food game. We will not return.

So unexpectedly wonderful. I didn't choose the restaurant and was slightly skeptical since this isn't my usual type of restaurant. Service was super efficient and warm and attentive. Very good social distancing in place -- they wouldn't let one of us walk to the table without putting on a mask. Good for them!
Probably my favourite place for Latin food in London. Everything in the menu is delicious, smoothies, cocktails, are perfect and everything is served with great presentation and reasonable portions. Service is amazing, music is fab and atmosphere is great. I've mainly been during day time for lunch and it always makes a great impression to anyone I go with for the first time. Keep doing what you're doing!
To start with, this place definitely has a very Cuban feel to it, if I say so myself (as a Cuban!\u200d️) The decor is what stands out the most. The food is very tasty, but definitely has a Spanish/Colombian influence. Overall you do get a good idea of how our traditional food is like. Great atmosphere and lovely service, I keep coming back whenever I’m in the area, whether it’s for the food or just for drinks.
We ordered takeaway from Cubana tonight and it was excellent, very tasty, big portions and it came super quickly too with a sweet note from the owners. I also appreciated the eco friendly packaging. Will definitely order again.
