What a beautiful restaurant/cafe/bar. I have never been in here before and after living around the area for 3 months, I took a longer walk around the block and finally opened my eyes. How have I never been here? Walked in to grab some takeaway cakes.. wowweeee the Argentinan selection is stunning. Huge portions for a great price and luxurious ingredients. I love my goood food so you can be rest assured this was not at all a disappointment. I calso left with 2 beautiful bottles of red wine. I genuinely was just curious about the craft of the wine and after such an astounding discussion and insight into the belnds, ages and more, I really couldn't leave without purchasing. The hosts Alexandra and I forget the chefs name, so sorry! They are just amszing. You can really feel their passion for this place. The way they speak, describe and package everything so carefully. I really mean this, go on in and check them out. ASK QUESTIONS because they clearly love to share their knowledge. THANK YOU! So excited to try the wines!!

Excellent food. Delicious spinach empanada and melted polvorone cheese to start. Argentinian steaks to follow. Fillet steak superb, tender and flavourful. Sirloin steak also excellent but had to be returned to the kitchen as it was undercooked. However the service was, to put it politely, direct/perfunctory, little courtesy of what you might expect in the English language e.g. \Ready?\ as opposed to \are you ready to order?\ or \have you decided?\ Some might perhaps consider this unfriendly, despite that the 2 staff were chatting happily to each other at the counter. Between 7 pm and 8.30 pm the restaurant was fairly quiet so little issue over social distancing however, there didn't appear to be any other indications of covid19 compliance such as masks and disposable menus encountered in other restaurants. In summary the food was very good and worth it provided you don't mind wobbly tables and chairs and are not bothered about a little courtesy and a more professional level of service.

We really enjoyed dining in casa malevo. I got a delicious ribeye with peppercorn sauce and it was superb. Service is very friendly and the atmosphere feels great. Prices are in line with what you’d expect on prime cuts in central London but the management chose to reduce the prices in accordance with VAT reduction so you get even better value for money. Burger was fantastic and very inexpensive. Highly recommended.

The food was extraordinary. The service could be improved. The place was nearly empty but we had to remind the waitress to bring the stuff we ordered, among other things.

The friendly restaurant staff helped us organise a fantastic vacio steak and empanadas to take away and cook at home for dinner, with advice on how to cook, and an excellent selection of wines to choose from. It was all delicious! Highly recommended for a mid-lockdown steak fix!
