I don’t know why I keep coming back here. Waiting times are ridiculous every single time, even when there isn’t anyone in the waiting room. I’ve been here over 2 hours and 4 people arriving after me have been shepherded in beforehand. I understand that cases need to be prioritised, but having to come here on a sick day as the only free time I have is just the cherry on top. In the past I’ve waited 4 hours, only to be told half an hour before closing there “isn’t enough time” to fit me in. A better system is needed to guarantee appointments.
Great service! No waiting time or they will ask you to come on another day. Definitely faster than any go surgery! Would 100% recommend
Great place, definitely recommend it. Arrived half an hour before closing time on Monday, only had to wait around 5-10 minutes. Despite the fact that it was the end of a probably long day for them too, everybody was super friendly, from the recepcionist lady to the nurse. They were very helpful too, I received a lot of useful information and advice and even ended up coming out of the building 10 minutes after closing time because the nurse didn't send me away halfway. The old dissatisfied reviews made me concerned prior to my visit, but it proved to be a great experience!
Woman at reception was absolutely useless and unhelpful. She refused to let me see a nurse, claiming they didn’t have enough staff. There were only 2 people in front of me and 2 hours till closing time. I really don’t understand how a nurse could not see me that day. Working at a sexual health clinic, you’d think the receptionist would know answers to basic sexual health questions but nope. Moving to a different clinic and 100% would not recommend Brook. Update: I went to the clinic again. Previously, I was told I could not get XYZ done on the day and that they did not take appointments. Receptionist tells me I need to come in on a Tue or Wed around 1pm if I wanted to get XYZ done. A few weeks later, I go in on a Wednesday at 12:15pm, and I am told I need to make an appointment to get it done. ... Honestly I give up with this place. The receptionist this time was very nice though. But other than that, this clinic is hopeless.
