Food is pretty good but service isn’t famously fast. It gains marks because it’s good to be able to sit outdoors but they lose marks for me because they have recently changed their policy and stopped serving alcohol which changes this place from somewhere I would happily sit all afternoon spending a load of cash to somewhere that I no longer actually bother going. Shame. They have recently changed the opening hours so it’s open for dinner but again, with dinner it’s nice to have a glass of wine so I haven’t made use of these extended hours.

Nice ambience and friendly staff add to the experience. It's nice to be outdoors but in an enclosed placed. It helped the sun was out. The food was good, portion slightly small. It was decorated to look fuller than it was. The staff were friendly, helpful and created a friendly, comfortable experience. I had a egg and avocado on brown toast.
Food came out quickly and wasn't that bad actually. The massive breakfast for 20 is enough for 2 to share. The cakes are the standout pieces and are very nice, as good as Patisserie Valerie. Large cappuccino is enormous! Only thing is the service is so variable - one of the servers was brilliant and couldn't do enough, yet another one was so uninterested in being there and impossible to get her attention.
I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. I found it to be spacious and clean and the service was excellent. The food was served swiftly and the children also thoroughly enjoyed both the menu and treatment they recieved. The coffee and cakes are both amazing and overall I would recommend this cafe highly.
Lovely place for a better coffee than starbucks and amazing view of Wanstead in outdoor sitting area . Truly amazing
