Love the 40 days aged beef rice bowl, so good but portion was small. I don’t recommend this on a first date as the black salt(?) will get stuck in your teeth. Hahahahaha. The milk tea ice cream bao was good, bao taste like 金银馒头.
Lovely Taiwanese food, small portion so order about 4 plates pp. As a chinese, the milk tea ice cream dessert is very nice, not too sweet and have a good milk tea taste. Staff is so nice and friendly. A very good experience and will be back.
We ordered some bao buns and a rice box (pork). The bao buns were tasty but very overpriced compared to other bao places that are equally good. The pork dish was terrible.. 2 tiny pieces of rubbery pork fat on a bed of dry noodles and rice, and in a package that is very difficult to eat as a take away on the go.. something many coming to Borough Market are seeking since we can't sit down. Very disappointed, won't be returning. There are better options in the market for a lower price.
Open through lockdown but only for takeaway. Delicious Mapo Tofu & Egg rice box. Buns were good too but a little on the smaller side. There is a long queue outside though so calculate in waiting time when you go. You can’t eat the food you buy on the vicinity of the restaurant due to covid rules but just walk down to the waterfront for some stone slabs you can sit on to eat.
