We shared a mixed grill for two and the portion size was just adequate. The koobideh wasn’t the best I’ve had as it tasted a little strange (choice of herbs). Service was indifferent. There are better Persian restaurants in London.

Food was average, though I would say Barak Kabab was so yummy and one of the best, other things was OK. Expensive compared to many other places and they charge for everything... Staff and atmosphere was nice

I love love LOVEEEEEE this restaurant. A little piece of heaven. By far the best Iranian kebab I have ever had, and the starter platter is to die for. Not only is the food always top quality, the owner is so so welcoming and lovely. This place deserves all the praise it can get!

Alounak is a decent Persian restaurant. Best part is you can bring your own drinks meaning the bill at the end isn’t so large. Place is cosy, staff are pleasant but food is average at best. Recommend not sitting by the bread oven as it can get really warm they side of the restaurant.
