Best brisket I’ve ever had. It looked dry when being sliced, but it was moist and oh so tender. Pork ribs were meaty with a beautiful smoke ring. Both had a wonderful smoke-a-licious flavor. Slaw and beans were a bit spicy but good. Fantastic meal.

I am a native Texan and have had tons of BBQ in my lifetime and I am serious when I say this Lockhart Smokehouse makes the best Briskit I have ever had in the Dallas area! It's perfectly smoked and melts in your mouth like butter! I dream about it! The two sides i had with it are equally delicious The coleslaw is absolutely fabulous people! I mean FABULOUS! The macaroni and cheese? FABULOUS! If you live in the Dallas area or just visiting and want some of the best bbq in town I HIGHLY recommend you hit Lockhart Smokehouse...YOU won't be sorry \u003c3
GOOD BBQ...some days. Some days it’s not good at all. This was my second visit. If I had this on my first visit I never would’ve gone back. VERY HIGH PRICES for the portions. Mac n cheese could be a lot better.
Restaurant is open but seating is limited to the upstairs area or the bar during Covid. I had the half pound of beef brisket and the spicy mac n' cheese. The brisket was good the outer crust was tasty. The mac n' cheese was ok, a little too creamy for my taste and a bit over spiced. The restaurant is located in old Plano and is a great opportunity for a pleasant walk peeking into the other shops.
