Beside the canal. Lovely. Great place to stop if you are fishing, walking or cycling.
Great location, friendly staff and cold beer on tap... what else could you ask for after a good run or a bike ride. I didn’t order any food or niblets, however the service won us over and coupled with the location, I am sure that I’m going back to Lock 27 again when I’m tired after a bike ride or when I just want to soak in the view
I had the Sunday roast and was very pleased. The whole plate was great but the roast potatoes were especially good.
