Those cookies are a little piece of heaven, will definitely go when they reopen. Had the hot Italian it was awesome and the lobster rolls sweet as butter.

Highly recommend the ‘Chicken n egg’! The texture of biscuit is good, and I super love the cheese fried chicken:) it’s juicy! And the sauce mix perfectly! Also like the French toast, they use brioche bread, plus you can choose the style of your egg!

Great food, but hours are never correct, and their website allows you to place orders outside of business hours, so call ahead.

Every dish we’ve had has been awesome! One of the best chicken sandwiches in Charlotte. The pretzels and donuts are amazing. I’m so glad we live close by

I’m shocked to read the 1 star reviews. I couldn’t disagree with them more. Let’s starts with the staff. The young lady who helped us was super friendly and accommodating. My sister has dietary restrictions (she a vegetarian). They went out of their way to make her the croquette madam with the ham on the side (for me since I am not a vegetarian). And they even seared the ham for me. Super awesome! I think the food was excellent. Granted, I preferred my sisters croquette madam more than my fried chicken sandwich but that’s not a reflection of the food (the chicken came with a syrup drizzle which was good but not what I wanted on my sandwich). Also, anytime an establishment serves home made freshly made chips, they get a thumbs up in my books. Lastly, let’s talk about price. If you want good, quality, freshly made food, you shouldn’t complain about the price. My sister and I are San Francisco, CA natives so we know all about pricey food woes. In my opinion, the food was reasonably priced and more importantly, delicious! This place is worth it! We’ll be coming back when we get a chance to visit Charlotte again!
