Closed due to virus. This looked a lovely little pub right on the sea wall, it's the 1st time I've been here for many years and can imagine once restrictions have been lifted would be an ideal place to stop off for a drink whilst walking the sea wall route. I apologise to the owner for only giving 1 star originally but as you said it was given more to the fact that pubs are remained closed at this time of pandemic and no other reason.

Pretty olde worldy beamed pub, tucked away on the sea wall on Canvey Island. Nice food, reasonably priced, eith polite and helpful service. Look forward to going back (Hopefully with better weather!)
Tucked away I came across this pub during a long cycle ride. Staff were very friendly. I was able to order food and drinks via an app. This was fast and convenient. I ordered a couple of drinks and \Cod and Chips\. The drinks arrived in minutes and the food was not long after. The cod was good quality and the chips cooked just right. This is an idea location to spend a sunny afternoon sitting in their garden. Thoroughly enjoyable
Staff were friendly, greeted us and directed us to a table. Service was excellent, food was out of this world. Food better than JD Weatherspoons and i was more than happy to pay extra for the quality. THANK YOU.
