I'm now half way through my 3rd 8 week course, and I'm loving it. I can't wait to get back to the studio each week. It's amazing how quickly you pick up the skills and before you know it you've got a new set of mugs. The studio is in an amazing location, and Jack is a wonderful teacher. Very Patient and often teaching at numerous levels depending on the students within the class - very impressive! I would recommend to anyone to give it a go.

I absolutely loved this course. Jack is a wonderful teacher. He is an incredibly patient and conscientious tutor. I look forward all week to getting behind the wheel. Its a very therapeutic thing to do. I encourage anyone who wants to give a go, just try it. You will fall in love with it like I did. My partner and I did the 2.5 hour throwing taster session after it was recommended by a friend. After completing the session, I immediately wanted to book in for another class. Jack was a very friendly and patient teacher. From teaching us the fundamentals of throwing to how to correct any mistakes made. He was incredibly supportive and very personable. I was unsure on how much I would enjoy pottery as it was completely new to me, but after the first cup was made I was immediately hooked and this is a huge compliment to jack and his teaching style. Casual conversations whilst going through each step made for an easygoing and relaxing experience. We can’t wait to go back and make a variety of pottery!
This was the most fun I had had in ages! Being a complete craft klutz I had every confidence that I would mess this up, but much to my amazement and thanks to Jack's careful guidance (and quick action to save the pot!) I actually made 3 small pots during the session. I recommend this fully as a gift for the klutz in your life - they too will be stunned at what they can do. Thank you so much Jack - brilliant!!
Great first experience of pottery throwing. Easy to find location, great workshop and equipment. I was able to follow Jack's instruction well and he had the ability to keep an eye on everyone's work in progress as the class is limited to 6 people. Intensive day but very enjoyable!! Good lunch too! Hoping to sign up for the evening course next year.
