A total scam. This restaurant is stingy beyond belief with fish sizes. Just look at the photo! I feel insulted and ripped off. I paid for a medium sized cod which is nothing more than a child's small portion. They hide it under chips but I noticed and pointed out that I asked for a medium. They replied that was standard. in all my years of visiting hundreds of fish and chip shops, this is by far the worst. I didn't enjoy the experience of being treated like this and will be going to the other shop in future. They have no reason to do this apart from maximum profit making. Awful, mean, stingy, to the point of fraudulent.
Don't expect to get a reasonable size large cod here. Very thin and small fillets. But what you do get is tasty
Very poor order fish and chips fish very thin and not Battered properly And chips were cold and didn't taste very nice This is the 2nd time I poor service will not be going back again
Some of the best fish and chips you'll ever eat and certainly they are the very best in this part of the world. Always nip in when passing even if for small Doodle of chippingtons. Delish. *They really should take cards though in 2018......
