My wife & I have just relocated to the area and popped in this morning as we need to find a local butchers as we have a large family and spend a good regular amount each month. I went in after my wife to maintain the \ 2 only \ in the shop as I wanted to choose the meats but was asked to wait outside to let a paying customer in by the owner. Well matey, no problem, great customer service but definitely will not be back As everything you sell is not in the window you need to go inside to see what is on offer !!! Merry Christmas !!

Before I start, I just want to say that the food here, is 9/10 - never had a problem and good value for money - but a bad experience over the counter....my one star is for my overall experience. In my local butchers, I was gutted to oversee some of the worst customer experience I have ever seen over the counter. The poor woman being served in front of me, who was extremely tolerant to the barrage she received, was only asking what the offer was on the anti-pasti. The sign stated \SPECIAL OFFER ON ANTI-PASTI\ so she very politely asked what the offer entailed. The lady behind the counter was so rude, even I was shocked, shaking and waving her hands in the air, tutting to herself loud enough for the entire shop to hear, and just repeating that it was a \special offer\ - I was so taken back that I completely missed out the gentleman (also quite rude) who was serving me was saying. She just kept saying its a \special offer\ and eventually ended up with \its obviously a reduced cost\ in a \duhhh\ sort of way. Sarcasm and pure arrogance and I am surprised the woman did not walk out altogether. I felt embarrassed for her. She ended up purchasing some stuffed red peppers which she quite obviously wasn't even looking to purchase because she clearly felt bullied by the way this lady was serving her. Such a shame - because as I said, the food and quality of food is very good. MANNERS COST NOTHING.
