I am upset with the bad service we have received from Happy Home Furnishers Port Talbot. We purchased furniture from there in February on finance and it was due to be delivered today - as the wardrobe itself took six weeks to make. It was not delivered today as we needed work done beforehand and this was on hold due to the virus. We then had an email first thing this morning to notify us of our finance being cancelled! After calling the finance company, they informed us that this was because it had been over 30 days (obviously, it's been more like 60!) We were never told about this at the point of sale. How can you sell finance that cancels after 30 days if some of the furniture takes over that to be made and delivered? Apparently the staff didn't know about this part of the contract - how can you legally sell a financial product if you don't know everything about it? I am currently heavily pregnant and was happy knowing the fact that our furniture would be delivered when all of this was over - which now it won't be! Also convenient that there is nobody able to give us a refund, even though there are still people out delivering furniture for this company.
