So impressed with this place- I’ve found a new hobby! From the great price, to the helpful and cheery staff, to the ease of getting kit, then into the water, but most of all the unforgettable experience of kayaking from dock to dock in such a great city on your doorstep. The prices are so competitive and value for money. Booking online was simple. Parking was easy to find, secure and free. We hired wetsuits that were a great fit and had been cleaned before our use, we changed in an outdoor pop-up tent which was only used by bubbles of people at a time and just wore tight swim/ gym clothes underneath. The staff were so knowledgable and immediately put our minds at rest about not having Kayaked before or for a long time. We were told about how far to go and what the water would be like as well as some tips for moving around and then we were off in a matter of minutes! Kayaking was such a rush, the views are incredible and it was just wonderful to see the city from the water, we went through 3 docks then into the Albert Dock with complete ease but had our work cut out coming back against the wind- all good fun! I didn’t want to leave and booked on to an open water swimming session the moment I got home. Can’t wait to go back and try something else! Thank you for having us! Anne, Chelsea & Chloe

Paddleboarding with Liverpool SUP company was amazing. Jayne was our instructor and was great - taught us loads, put us at ease and right on the water straight away. Plenty of time to do some sightseeing and pretty unique way to explore the docks. Fell in as well once which was nice and refreshing (not too cold either). Definitely paddleboarding again!

So Open water swimming. First time I thought I'd give it a go. The staff were really welcoming and helped out as much as possible. They had wetsuits and hats I could buy. The toilets and changing rooms were fine. The location is great and there's a lot of Dock to swim in. There's a ramp so you can ease yourself in without suffering the cold water. Even the swimming guys were friendly and offered tips about getting into the water. Free use of float thing. Remember to check website first as you need to register with a third party. Only two gripes, for such an awesome venue the parking is limited to about 20 places which is crazy and you don't get your 20p back from the locker which is a first and also means take a few with you incase you need to get anything out of the locker mid swim!

An absolute pleasure, staff are amazing and always look after us guys from Spider Project CIC. They do a lot for our local communities and deserve all the praise they get.

Really enjoy renting paddle boards from here. Really laid back and easy to do. A one way system would be a good idea, particularly during covid-19. 10/10 for jellyfish.
