I booked a grooming appointment here for my puppy’s second groom. The groomer was very attentive on arrival and I confidently left my puppy. The groomer explained his hair wd need to be shorter on his legs but as requested his beautiful doodle coat would be maintained on his body. I left him feeling happy he would yld be in good hands and his coat would be cared for. I received a call 20 mins later to be told his coat would need to go shorter as after washing it wasn’t possible to keep him longer. This was in spite of checking his coat before i left him and he is brushed eveey day. If this wasn’t ok i could “pick him uo now”. When i collected him i was quite shocked he had been shaven all over and looked like another dog, or an oven ready chicken. On reflection this approach seems quite unprofessional leaving your puppy with an agreed plan for his wellbeing and an ultimatum phone call. I wanted to be polite but we are really quite upset and would recommend you are clear about your groom before yoy leave your fluffy baby to return to retrieve a shaven pup
