Great place to go for a walk round, regardless of the weather, it is quite easy to get lost in the Pinewoods if you stray off the beaten track but that's all part of the fun and eventually you will come back to a main path. There are toilets and usually an ice cream van on the main car park area. If you bring your own food and drink then please take your used packaging / litter home with you, if you've carried it from the car when it's full then it'll be a even easier when it's empty

a great place anytime of the year, especially in summer, the only problem tho is that is summer it's too crowded so I personally like to be there very early in the morning so i don't need to search for parking, and get to witness the sunrise when the beach is still empty and wide open. When i'm done with walking alongside the water there is the jungle area which is a great walk under the shades if the sun is too hot, definitely recommended.

Be prepared for some strong winds and cold weather if you come in Winter, in Summer it's extremely pleasant though! It's great for a walk about and to see the rare native red squirrel and other such things like beach lizards you find at Formby. Lovely place, definitely worth visiting!

Great coastal paths, dunes and woodland walks. A red squirrels if lucky.
