Nice little shop, well stocked and at great prices, always offers on. The driving range is quite small but it has a nice atmosphere and you often get free tips from the pro as he's walking past! They also have 'tour van' days where you can try out all the latest clubs and buy them custom fit straight from them.

As a visitor to Formby Gof Centre quite regularly, I can honestly say that this is a wonderful place to come and practise your game. The gentlemen are always there to help, give advice and lessons are available for those who choose to book them. I must say, that in times of Covid, all visitors are kept safe and the staff complete a stirling job to ensure this happens. I was quite surprised to read Mr Vaughan's review and accusations that us customers and the staff place people's well being at risk. I would like to assure all of us other players and users that this is still a safe and wonderful place to come and visit, buy equipment and to have running repairs completed. I guess Mr Vaughan, if you were concerned, if the car park is busy, then do what I and sensible people do; turn back and come back when the resource is less busy. Keep up the good work chaps Alan

I'm a brand new player at 47, first lesson with Chris today. Very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Puts you at ease straight away and a few pointers and I was satisfyingly hitting balls reasonable straight.

Great atmosphere, trying to decide on a new driver, staff are very helpful and no pushy sales. Had a few lessons and my game is coming together nicely. Great place for newcomers and experienced golfers to practice, or chat for advice.
