Barringtons were extremely professional and sympathetic in very trying circumstances for my father's funeral. They were accommodating and courteous throughout the entire process. Neil was excellent at the crematorium directing the pall bearers very expertly and adhering to all of our family's wishes and Julie was very efficient and professional on the admin side. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others who have lost a loved one.

A massive thankyou to Julie and David who helped me with the sad loss of my mum. Under very difficult circumstances they advised and guided me through every step. All the staff who I spoke to were very sympathetic and respectful in regards to our family's requests. A wonderful, caring, family run business. I would recommend them 100%.

Absolutely shocking service from Barringtons Funeral Services. When myself and my family initially spoke with Barringtons they projected themselves in a very friendly and positive light, however, this quickly changed once we had signed their paperwork and paid our deposit. I made attempts to contact them for an update to see if they had collected my daughter from the public mortuary, after around 4 days I finally got through and when I politely advised the young man on the phone that I had been trying to contact them for a few days, I was advised (and I quote) 'I don't wish to be rude, but you're not the only client we have, please do not call us unnecessarily, we will call you with any updates'. After this I just put the phone down and cried, I couldn't cope and regretfully felt that I had made a bad decision. I contacted the local public mortuary who didn't seem surprised by my comments regarding Barringtons, and put me in contact with another local funeral director. David Barrington then called me asking why I had appointed another local funeral director. I simply explained that I was deeply upset in how the young man had spoken to me. David did apologise on his behalf but then asked again, would you consider staying with us. I simply advised 'no' for which he replied 'you won't be receiving your deposit back then, as it's none refundable'. I advised David that I'd go public as I'm not willing to loose 1,500 when they haven't even booked my daughters service or even collected her body, and he replied 'we will deny it'. Absolutely disgusting service from a local funeral director. Don't be fooled by them.

Thank you Barringtons for taking the whole strain out of organising mums recent funeral. We would like to particularly thank Claire for the compassion, guidance and professionalism shown to us, to ensure mum had the best service, possible, in these difficult times. I wish I could have given you 10 stars x
