Wonderful food, and excellent service even though we sat outside with the dogs under cover. Bur the staff needed to come through the rain with food, drinks, etc. The food was wonderful I had skate and my other half a salmon steak with risotto... And did I mention they allow dogs in the outside part and even brought them a drink of water.

September 2020.Only had a drink but the day was so lovely we sat outside on the patio and there's also a large canopy on the grass for outside eating/drinking. It is a refurbished Methodist church by the river Erlicht and the main restaurant is in the building with lovely stained glass windows and has been done to a high standard.Great place for fish/seafood lovers. Dogs are welcomed outside, don't know about inside.
We had dinner there on Thursday evening. It was our first visit and after reading many excellent reviews of the restaurant we were very much looking forward to our evening. We were not disappointed. The restaurant itself is beautiful. I used to live next to the church when it was still a church. I was very curious to see the inside now. It's very tasteful with a cosy feel you wouldn't expect from a church. The service was excellent. The owner made a point of speaking to us as well which was a lovely, personal touch. The food was excellent. My partner is vegetarian and he really enjoyed his meal as well. I can definitely see why this restaurant is always busy. Absolutely worth paying a visit
Food was varied,from steaks to fish and variety of seafood. Simple dishes, were absolutely delicious. Three empty plates. Would have been five star but for the fact it was very cold. Under floor heating not very effective. This restaurant is in a converted church. We would definitely return as food was spot on.
Perfectly cooked fish, delicious. Recommended folks
