Lovely park well kept and my husband liked the birds. Cafe was handy for hot drinks.

Choose from sandwiches, jacket potatoes, panini's, toasted sandwiches, burgers, scampi & chips, or a large basket of chips (and I mean big too), plus much more. There is a choice for everyone & it's also very good value, cooked to order & tastes delicious. If you have room for either a tub of ice cream or a Mr Whippy, then go for it as they too are equally gorgeous. Especially on a hot sunny day.
Great to get a hot drink and a warm welcome, on a chilly day.

My first visit, I was confused! You're outside to order, masks on, then go round into the café, keep mask on until you sit. Your order comes to a hatch inside, 5 steps from your table, but you'll be told crossly to put your mask on until you sit again. Then if you want a second cup, you have to put your mask on again, go outside, order and pay, then go back inside, mask on until you sit whilst you wait, mask back on to walk the 5 steps to fetch your coffee from the inside hatch! Ridiculous. Nice coffee though!
