I was there last week and wasn't sure about submitting a review. I emailed the owners and never received a response back. I'll keep it simple. Food was pretty good in general, though I didn't finish it. Pork was solid but the brisket was not that great. Even with the sauces. Also had the mac/cheese and potato salad. The one star is for a few reasons that really made me lose my appetite. I was there for a few hours with some friends and we sat on the patio. I would say roughly 30 customers came and went, who also sat on the patio. During that two hour period, not one staff member cleaned one table or surface the entire time frame. Just set aside the fact that restaurants are constantly being challenged during a pandemic to even stay open. These guys are not helping the situation whatsoever, and in general are major health code violators. Simple stuff like cleaning table. I've never seen a restaurant do stuff like this. When you have no management or ownership presence, you get these results. Kids were running the place and kids do what kids do. They don't clean. Get with the program because the next contact will be with the health department. Start caring about people's general health and retrain you staff to clean. Hell, put a video or security camera up and monitor them. I definitely won't be back either.

WOW. The staff and the food were amazing. Everyone was super welcoming, friendly, and helpful. First-class service. One of the best BBQ meals we’ve ever had. We tried the beef rib, brisket, pulled pork, sausage, mac ‘n’ cheese, and beans. Everything was mouth watering. Each bite was heavenly. Can’t say enough positive things about our visit. We’ll be dreaming about this place for a while!!!
Hands down the best brisket in town. My smoked brisket is close, but takes a lot of time and effort. It's nice to be able to go somewhere and get great BBQ, without doing all the work myself. The pulled pork is also very good. You have to stand in line to order (no table service), but they have a nice patio and indoor seating. They also understand the irresistable pull of really good BBQ, and their pricing reflects such. The only reason I withheld a star is the expense. I mean, normally, one would not expect to spend over 100 to feed a family of 4 a BBQ dinner, you can do that at the chain joints for 30 or 40 bucks. That said, credit where credit due: sometimes you're willing to pay the price for really great food and, if BBQ is what you crave, you can't find better than Lil Miss!
First time at BBQ Sunnyslope all because of a glitch online ordering, but I've tried their food before and it was very good. This time I ordered the brisket sandwich with the house sauce, and potato salad again very good. I'll be back soon and will recommend to everyone.
Last time that we tried the southern style BBQ was in Dallas, and the taste is still in my mouth. I would say the brisket was amazing. The beef sausage was good but was not what I expected. I definitely recommend this place and I hope will back again.
