Be aware that dogs are no longer allowed in this café. I have used the café, accompanied by my dog, several times, but this time I was told \the health inspector told me not to\. This of course is rubbish because it is entirely up to the person running an establishment, as to whether to allow dogs. The Regency Café in Kington welcomes dogs, as do a couple of cafés in Builth Wells. So I'm afraid I won't be using this café again.

Great staff . Great menu. Breakfast and the homemade cottage pie a must. Always a varied choice of desserts or cake .
On a visit to Knighton we saw the cafe and went there as it looked very welcoming. My husband had the full English and I had the vegetarian version. Both were fantastic, with good quality ingredients used, fair pricing and large portions. The staff were very friendly. We would definitely go again if in town.
Lovely food. Went as it advertised gluten free options. Wow - produced GF sausages which were great and added extra items to make sure I got the value from it. The normal breakfast was as good as it looked according to my husband. Everyone was friendly and it was well frequented by locals. I took away a slice of GF coffee cake as couldn't eat it and it made a tasty treat later.
Fabulous cottage pie. Served professionally and with friendly good humour. Great value.
