I ordered a recliner chair from Listers in January and in May am still waiting. You can buy a house and move into it quicker that Listers can provide furniture and that is abysmal. No member of staff has ever contacted me about this...whatever they do behind their counter at the top of the stairs certainly doesn't involve customer care. I usually like to support local businesses but will think twice about returning to Listers. Buyer beware. UPDATE: needing a further recliner chair, I purchased a display chair from Listers recently as it suited my requirements. It was delivered a few days later as agreed and all went satisfactorily. I have updated my review and rating to reflect the two experiences.

Nice cafe with generous fragrant coffee servings. Food is fresh and enjoyable and most of the staff in the cafe are very friendly and helpful. There is a really interesting and varied selection of goods in the main shop, the kitchen selection is great. Space is a bit tight with a wheelchair but two are provided in-store. The garden centre part has deteriorated and Is quite lack-lustre, although there is always a decent selection of bedding plants on display on your way in and they have been good quality when I’ve bought them. The furniture place upstairs is expensive. On the whole, worth a visit for a coffee and snack and a good look round. You can pick up a nice present here, candles and cards. We spend about a couple of hours here on average about four times a year or more.

Ok place for a sandwich and a cup of coffee whilst you are looking around for garden and kitchen stuff to buy. They also have a discount scheme if you intend to visit lots.
