Thema Alle kunstwerken hebben iets te maken met het thema voedsel en consumptie. Binnen dit onderwerp is de samenstelling van de verzameling heel divers. Een verscheidenheid aan disciplines, stijlen, nationaliteiten en periodes is vertegenwoordigd, al ligt het zwaartepunt op hedendaagse kunst. Het gebouw is ontworpen door Arie Korbee van KVDK Architecten. Het modern ogende gebouw telt vijf hoofdzalen. Tweederde van het gebouw komt boven de grond uit, het onderste gedeelte is in het landgoedduin geschoven. Over de gehele lengte van het gebouw loopt het openbare voetpad dwars door het gebouw heen. Als een soort winkeletalage kun je op dit voetpad naar binnen kijken.

This is a very interesting museum with alot of different art. It's also family friendly. The location is perfect and afterwards I will recommend you to walk through the garden there is also some art and the nature there is also so pretty and relaxing.

Great concept - museum about consumerism. From paintings to sculptures and films and kinetic art installations. What an experience! Free parking is a boon!

Great museum, just a tad short and the "look up your own information" concept is nice but doesn't work well enough for kids or young adults. For older people or people with interest in modern art however, this does seem like a beautiful, well layed out museum with great staff!

Thoroughly enjoyed the ‘food and consumerism/ consumption’ artworks. Wonderful to see a complete mix of photography, sculptures, paintings- well everything. Great space, loved the building. Spend as little or as long as you like.

Get away from the crowds at the Keukenhof and get another perspective at this new (opened jan 2019) modern art museum in Lisse. All the work is themed around consumerism and is supposed to bring forth a conversation between visitors and staff. No extra information around the art is given (no artist name, date, etc), you’ll have to figure that out through the staff or an app. The building itself is worth the visit with its spacious “instaworthy” rooms. At the moment of visit the museumkaart was not valid but we did get a subsidized ticket. The visit can be as short as 30 minutes since the museum itself isn’t so big.
